About Gospel Mount

Gospel Mount exists for one reason: to bring the Bible closer to everyday life — with warmth, honesty, and care for every reader who arrives here.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Psalm 119:105 (ESV)

What We Do

We publish Scripture-first articles, prayers, devotionals, and Bible study guides on topics that real people face — anxiety, grief, relationships, parenting, doubt, forgiveness, and the questions that keep you up at night. Every article is grounded in the Bible, written with pastoral care, and designed to be genuinely helpful.

Our content is available in 11 languages — English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, and Chinese — because Scripture belongs to the whole church, not just one corner of it.

Everything on Gospel Mount is free. No paywalls, no premium tiers, no ads (for now). We believe the Word of God should be accessible to everyone.

What We Believe

We hold to the essentials that Christians across all traditions share:

  • God — one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
  • Scripture — the Bible is God’s inspired Word and our guide for faith and life
  • Jesus Christ — fully God and fully human, crucified, risen, and coming again
  • Grace — salvation is a gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ
  • Love — the greatest commandment is to love God and love our neighbour
  • Hope — death is not the end; God is making all things new

Where Christians differ — on baptism, communion, church structure, spiritual gifts, and other important questions — we present the perspectives of different traditions with respect and without taking sides. We believe thoughtful Christians can disagree on secondary matters while standing together on what matters most.

There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call—one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

Ephesians 4:4–6 (ESV)

Who We Are

Our contributors come from different denominational backgrounds — including pastoral ministry, theology, biblical studies, worship leadership, and family discipleship. We are united not by a single tradition but by a shared love for Christ and a desire to serve the church well.

Every article is written and reviewed by at least two people before it is published. We take theological accuracy, pastoral sensitivity, and readability seriously — because we know that the person reading may be in a hospital room, a sleepless night, or a season of real doubt.

How We Work

We aim for content that is:

  • Warm — like a conversation with a wise and caring friend
  • Biblical — every article anchored in Scripture, not opinion
  • Practical — readers should know what to do, not just what to think
  • Honest — we acknowledge real struggles without offering empty platitudes
  • Inclusive — every Christian tradition is welcome here

We also publish short devotional videos on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok — each one pairing a Bible verse with a moment of encouragement for whoever needs it that day.

Stay Connected

Every Tuesday, we send a short email with a verse, a prayer, and honest encouragement for the week ahead. It takes two minutes to read and it’s completely free.
